Called back, same thing with a different guy. One says they match costco pricing and then one doesn't... The very nice woman, Iara is going to call me back after talking to another woman, Kelly... Here's hoping - otherwise, no deal...
- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆January 27, 2019, by Justin LemonMade the terrible mistake of buying a 1,597 dollar tv on Amazon and it came from Video & Audio Center. * Turns out deep deep deep in the order history I found the invoice data and they said LIKE NEW,NEVER USED OPEN BOX. So I called the store and talked to the lady in charge of the Amazon store front she said it was brand new (only opened so they were checking it for damages) from it being shipped from a large delivery with other items. * I was concerned about it being an open box from a customer return and she said NO, it has never been plugged in or used. I was still concerned about there being something wrong with the tv. I asked can I please plug it in before the delivery man leaves to at least make sure it works? She said no that's absolutly not allowed and here's the strange thing when the delivery agent called 4 days later she said not to plug it in until the delivery man leaves AND I DIDN'T EVEN ASK OR MENTION IT FISHY. * Fast forward one week and the tv arrived today 9-28 the delivery man makes me help him carry out the tv from the truck and says to me we can open the box and take the tv out to inspect it but not plug it in. He said the notes say threshold delivery only so that means drop and go im very busy and on a schedule. I should have just plugged it in but I trusted them. * The tv is brand new but with a twist all the colors are negative which means most likely bad capacitors tv color comes and goes but stays mostly negative and washed out. Audio and video center would not let me though to the manager of the store front everytime they pick up for me it goes to voice-mail. I spent 4 hours on and off the phone with Samsung fighting about the return policy if I return to audio and video I would have to pay shipping,restocking fees,PLUS 15% OF MY TOTAL BACK TO THEM FROM MY REFUND. Samsung wouldn't help at first but I fought hard. So now I'm waiting for a Samsung rep to come to my house to take the tv... AVOID ONLINE OFFERS ONLY DEAL WITH IN STORE IF YOU MUST. September 1st 2017 the panel/screen has now been replaced three times by in home Samsung rep. The screen is still not up to par with black and white shadows on the screen for no reason so I'm living with this mistake since they womt refund me.
